RESCUE: Reviving the PH Economy by Strengthening the Healthcare System
The UP Organization of Business Economics Majors (UP OBEM) is a duly recognized socio-academic organization that is committed to fostering academic excellence and providing exposure to business and economics environments among its members and the student community.
After one year of hiatus, UP OBEM will once again hold Econ No-Mix, entitled “RESCUE: Reviving the Philippine Economy through Strengthening the Healthcare System”, an annual economics convention that aims to bring together 200 high school students nationwide to promote economics by introducing different economic concepts in various fields through talks and competitions. This event focuses on public health, with a special focus on the government’s role in developing and implementing policies to strengthen the healthcare system and how responses to public health issues can improve economic outcomes.
